Welcome to our very unique Mill and Flour Store!   Westwind Milling Co., LLC, formerly known as  the Argentine Mill, is located just outside of Linden, Michigan, and has been here since 1836.  It is a historic site in the state of Michigan.  Much more than a historic jewel, however, our Mill is a part of the local foods movement and has the unusual privilege of being a part of our community's future, and is not simply a relic of the past.

As most food in America today comes from a far away place where the conditions surrounding its production involve exploitation, pollution, erosion and the overuse of fossil fuels in getting it to you, people have become disconnected with what they eat, where their food comes from, and thus, with their ability to be connected with who they are.

We want to show that this does not have to be.  We provide food that is healthy for your body, healthy for the environment, and healthy for the local economy.  We grow and purchase certified organic grains from our own farm and from 16 other independent, Michigan organic farmers.  We have developed a network over the years with these and many other local and organic farmers in Michigan that grow a wide range of foods.  

This old Mill has become a resource that consumers in Michigan and beyond have asked for.  Come share in the bounty of Michigan!
